Black Lives Matter Plaza

This is the end closest to the White House of Black Lives Matter Plaza, a two-block-long pedestrian section of 16th Street NW on which “Black Lives Matter” was painted on the pavement at the order of the mayor of DC. The glass entry of a building I tried to photograph long ago (but didn’t like the picture) is located there, too, although last time I saw it, there were cars in front of it.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly
unsharp.

The poetic mallard, posted earlier:

What a dramatic entrance to an otherwise ordinary building. Not easy to photograph but you've got it with the lovely reflections too.

The design of the glass entry is very cool. What better place to locate this near the seat of power. V
