Taken on the grounds of Gunston Hall, below/previous picture. Although incredibly peaceful today, the property was a 5,500-acre “forced-labor” farm in the 18th century, when Founding Father George Mason lived there.
We don't have much color yet on Capitol Hill, so it's always exciting to find some somewhere else.
Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
