Cutthroat competition

One more shot from the new birdfeeder. I’ve seen sparrows get into vicious fights before, but this one looks frightening.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

No love here it seems. This does have a bit of a fright factor with the mid-air altercation and the foot placed just so on the throat/eye of the bird. Meanwhile the rest of the birds calmly go about the business of eating.
