Media, mourners, memorials for Ruth Bader Ginsburg

I had to wait quite a while for a break in the crowd to catch a small amount of the flowers left in memory of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the Supreme Court justice who passed away on Friday. The number of people who came to pay their respects to this giant of a woman from Friday evening into Sunday was truly remarkable.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

I’m really scared about who her replacement is going to be, I like how the building looms large over the scene. V

A strong voice for equal rights, she will be missed.

I am so glad that so many have turned up to remember her... she deserves every single bit of recognition and more. To say she was a remarkable woman is a severe understatement, she was one of a kind, a fighter for justice all her life. I was so hoping she could stay until the election, and so was she. It is a tragedy to lose such a beacon of light.

Biden gave a very good speech today arguing for waiting until after the election to replace the Notorious RBG. She was a great person.

She deserves every bit of honor, praise and respect. An icon of justice. She will be missed.

A great Supreme Court Judge spoke her mind and based her ruling on the constitution and laws.
I choked up when I heard of her passing .
I heard a woman say she did 20 push up three times a week and she said I cant even bend down to the floor.
Nice image Helen.

She will be missed. Sad day!

If anyone wants to know just how remarkable she was they should read "Free to Be Ruth Bader Ginsberg" by Teri Kanefield. She was fighting (for good) all her life and that's how she was able to make it to 87 despite three bouts with cancer.

I am hoping that her death and the heartless rush to replace her will wake people up to how screwed up our leadership(?) is and how critical is to get rid of it.

She fought so hard for so many things - women’s rights, justice, her own health...She was a force and will be missed even by people in other countries.
