Famous aviator Charles Lindbergh’s home

Charles Lindbergh made history in 1927 as the first aviator to successfully fly across the Atlantic from North America to the European mainland. While he was growing up, his father, Charles August Lindberg, served from 1907-1917 as the congressman representing Minnesota’s Sixth District. The family lived at 115 4th St. SE, returning to the family farm for the summer. On June 11, 1927 he returned to the Washington Navy Yard aboard the USS Memphis, along with his plane, the Spirit of St. Louis. Thousands lined the streets to give him a hero’s welcome.

a rewarding angle on his house, with the tree providing a sense of depth...his 1927 accomplishment was to make the first solo transatlantic flight...was reading just last night Colum McCann's account of Alcock and Brown making the first crossing in 1919, written in his novel Transatlantic..

Well photographed.
If Lindbergh were alive today Trump would probably have him working in the White House alongside Stephen Miller.
