Getting back to normal

Sahraa has been staying inside since her surgery on Tuesday in which 23 teeth were removed. She’s been crying constantly, upon which we’ve been petting and comforting her, meaning it’s been hard to get anything done around here, like make dinner and work at my computer. I realize she must be uncomfortable and in some pain, but we (and the vet) have decided that’s she’s now crying mainly to get attention. This morning she and Tim went to the park for the first time since Tuesday, where she got pets and dog treats and went on a walk with a doggie friend. When they got home, Tim said, “She’s faking it.” She’s outside today under the stairs, her usual spot, where I can’t pet her at all, and I haven’t heard a peep out of her.

Not the best picture due to the light, but I wanted to post it for an update for all the people who expressed concern about her (previous picture) and to show that she seems to be getting back to normal.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Glad to hear that Sahraa is feeling much better. She's also so lucky that she can still go on walks to her favorite park.

Glad to hear she is getting better.
Fudge is due to have his teeth cleaned (it was postponed due to Covid) and
I really hope he doesn't have to have any removed.

Good to Sahraa with a happy face on and glad she's doing better. They know how to work us for sure, though it must've been difficult for her at first.

Sweet capture. 23 teeth I'd be crying to.

Doggies do know how to manipulate their "owners." ~V~

Awww, poor girl! She will feel so much better once her gums heal. We had to do the same with our 16 year old Jillie. How old is Sahraa now?

So nice to see her looking happier! I think I know why she is punishing you with fake crying. She is mad that you gave her a poodle haircut on one leg.

:))) She's smart!

Smart puppy to get lots of extra pats and love - too bad she couldn't milk it any longer because she did have a miserable surgery done.

Wow that is already positive news then she will soon return to her old age, it is incredible what regions they have in their bag of tricks to get attention. BV
