Waiting for a showdown

This morning at Lincoln Park. It’s federal land, so the US Park Police are guarding the statue. The protesters said they’d come back Thursday evening with “reinforcements” to pull the statue down, but if the police have been ordered to protect it, I have a feeling a violent showdown is in the making — a block from our house.
