Dolmabahçe Palace, Istanbul

Dolmabahçe Palace served as the main administrative center of the Ottoman Empire from 1856 to 1887 and from 1909 to 1922. Its monumental gate can be seen in the previous picture.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
