Not sure I’ve ever seen this tulip magnolia at peak bloom, but it certainly was the other afternoon http://pbase.com/helenpb/image/170502090 and the light was perfect as well. I was there again yesterday, and the sky was gray and the sunlight was nowhere to be found.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.
