‘Securing the People’s House’ -- with a 13-foot barrier

We were on our way to the Renwick Gallery when we saw a big barrier on Pennsylvania Avenue obscuring the White House grounds. Turns out the old six-foot fence running around the White House is currently being replaced by a 13-foot fence. They call the White House the “People’s House,” but it’s become so inaccessible to the public, that now seems to be a misnomer.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

it is a pity that all of this has to happen thanks to a couple of immature fools in this world BV
