Our next door neighbor, who is originally from Riverhead, where we stayed on Long Island, insisted we go to Snowflake, saying it had been voted the best ice cream in the country. Turns out it was named the best in New York state, and with good reason. We went there every night we stayed in the town, and there was always a crowd.
