Savoring his catch

This sparrow sat up in my neighbor’s tree for the longest time with its catch in its mouth.

Best to view in "Original" because other versions resized by Pbase are decidedly unsharp.

Sometimes they sit for so long because they are wary of entering the nest with food if they think there is any danger nearby. What a great catch (for both of you). V
