The Viaduct Hotel opened for business in 1873 and acted as an overnight stop for guests traveling though the region. The eastern side of the station provided agent and ticketing services, while the west side had a four-story accommodation for guests (although the model only has three floors). The hotel closed in 1938 and was demolished in 1950.
Building materials include acorn caps, willow, royal Poinciana fruit, pine bark, monarda leaves, sea grape leaves, mahogany fruit and cinnamon.
