I’m glad I went searching for color; there certainly was much more than I expected. After all the rain we’ve had this week, some leaves remain, but most are on the sidewalk and in the gutter. The front of our house, however, is clear ;-).

Fall came very late to Capitol Hill this year due to unseasonably warm temperatures until the end of October and rain all summer long. The Washington Post had, in fact, called the color "muted," so I set out to prove them wrong and also show off the Victorian houses that host the trees.
