Eagle Scouts helping out on a 'path'

We went back to the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens (whose wildlife and flowers we’ve photographed several times before) on Saturday, but unfortunately, the rivers are so high here due to all the rain we’ve had, the entire place was under water and all the paths were closed off.

These Eagle Scouts were cleaning up the water lily ponds as a public service. They’re walking on one of the paths between ponds that are now completely submerged.

Great image of these scouts pitching in Helen. Seems like water and catastrophes everywhere.

I agree with the sentiment that expresses happiness that the kids are so involved .The USA will survive, not because of its leaders, but because of the basic goodness of the people

Pretty amazing. I had no idea you'd had so much rain. The result of the recent hurricane? V
