The City Bank, now an architect's office

I guess this is a “minor” repurposing -- a bank that’s now an architect’s office. I haven’t been able to find any information at all about The City Bank -- everything comes up for Citibank. It’s the same bank that had a branch in my neighborhood (towards the beginning of the gallery), which has been converted into a private residence. When the man who converted the branch building learned that an architectural firm inhabited the old bank headquarters, he thought it was quite fitting that they do the design work for the conversion.

Convent (1880s), then museum (1980s), now Landmark Lofts, posted earlier

I love the City Bank building! And it is so nice that they preserve the older buildings there. Here, all of the old buildings are pretty much gone, replaced by newer, uglier buildings.

Seems appropriate as you may have to empty your regular bank account and deposit it there in order to hire one of these folks to do a design for you. I really like the light and long shadows in your shot.
