Feeding in concert

One last bird picture from the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center in Laurel, Maryland. This scene was sort of boring, with nothing much going on, but as soon as we packed up the tripod and turned around to leave, they all took off, and I missed it. I think I need more patience for this kind of photography!

Which raises the question as to what you mean by "trials". Perhaps it is your patience that is being tried. But really, you're doing well.
