End of the trail

This is where everybody was hiking to, the Aqueduct Dam, but after slipping down an incline earlier and almost destroying my camera, I decided it was just going to be too difficult to clamber over the rocks to get there. It didn’t help that I had sandals (and socks) on… Definitely a mistake ;-), but what I normally wear except in snow.

Iced in, posted earlier.

I really like this view through the trees and over the rocks, and especially with the little group of people!

Definitely not a sandal-wearing trek down those rocks, but you got a great shot from behind! V

Wise choice to accept a filtered view rather than taking your chances on those rocks.

Super capture despite all your troubles. Lucky you weren’t hurt though!

Ouch! Glad you and your camera weren't damaged! I know what you mean about wearing sandals all the time. It's hard for me to separate from my Birkenstock Gizeh thongs. In the winter, unless it's freezing freezing cold or snowy/messy, I just put on high socks with them!
