One half of the distillery

We saw a lot of distilleries in Tennessee, a rare sight for us. This one (Old Forge Distillery) we actually went into and sampled their moonshine, although they also produce whisky, vodka and other liquors. When I asked where the distillery itself was, they pointed to the back of the showroom, and there it was – two stills, one old and wooden, and one new and stainless steel. I couldn’t believe they produced such volume with only that equipment.

Neat that they actually use coiled copper pipe - nice shot of this fascinating equipment V

A very fascinating image. There is a distiller in Rochester I want to visit. The only liquor I like straight up though is tequila. V
