Naturally, every time we visit the Hirshhorn Museum for whatever reason, I have to see what’s new in the “orchids: A MOMENT” exhibit. Perhaps the Smithsonian really is going to display all 8,000 varieties in their collection over the four months of the exhibition because every time I stop in there, I’m amazed at all the new specimens on view.
Both of these varieties were beautiful, but I never could get a picture I liked of the ones in the rear, which were similar but different.
