Spidery

I can’t believe I actually did this, but I went back once again to the “orchids: A MOMENT” exhibit at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. I don’t really have all that many pictures from this visit, but as I don’t have much else to work on except old captures, will continue this gallery for a little while longer. I hope people are not “orchided” out! I was a bit shocked this time because no botanist had come in to tend to the orchids, and there were at least three plants in very bad shape. Not so good for an exhibit like this.

These ones definitely have a spiky spidery feel to them - plus, as always, great color.

They are well named, they do so much look like a cross between plant and insect.
