Hovering

I went back to the exhibit titled “orchids: A MOMENT” at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, as the notice advertising it said the exhibits would be changed periodically, and so they were, at least some of them. Such a beautiful display! I only wish more of it was accessible, but since it’s arranged on a big wall, many of the plants were far too high to photograph.

I was simply fascinated by these unusual orchids and tried to get several captures of them.

Gorgeous. These remind me of little insects with wings closed, just waiting to fly off. Lovely capture. V
