Final view

A final picture in this gallery, giving an idea of the immense size of the fort.

Thanks so much for the kind comments and votes! I’m just happy we finally got to visit this interesting place before we departed from Riyadh. Now back to my other Saudi galleries except for when I think I have something interesting to post from the States.

I agree it does look like a giant sand castle, but then again, it is probably built from sandy bricks!
