Fortress across the 'Wild Area'

To finish out this four-picture series on Tuwaiq Palace and its surroundings, this is a building I had only ever been able to photograph from the highway, from where it looks very fortress-like (not so much from here, though). I was quite surprised to see it from Tuwaiq Palace, just across the way. Below is the “Wild Area” of the DQ that I have photographed extensively. It’s amazing how locations all fall together when viewed from a different perspective.
