Irqah, ruins

In our drive around southern Riyadh, we found a district called Irqah, which was home to some old ruins and what seemed to be a large expatriate population from India.

This was what I could get of the ruins from the road; I’m not sure if they’re undergoing some kind of restoration or what.

Part of the ruins at Irqah (and I don’t think a private house, but not sure), posted earlier:

Very interesting. I wonder how old these ruins are. Fascinating to see this site. V

something appealing about ruins; maybe like English abbeys and disused boats

Would be nice to look at them after some restoration.V
