Gigantic

The other day we were driving around southern Riyadh, not far from the DQ, to see what was there. I remembered having seen a very affluent neighborhood one evening a while ago and also wanted to revisit it in daylight. This will just be a series of captures of the houses there, many of which are still under construction. Maybe I’ll make a small gallery for the afternoon, but don’t have time to now and not sure I have enough decent pictures to make one anyway!

An absolutely enormous complex under construction. I don’t know if it’s a modern palace, a government facility or a business premises. It had a mosque and stunning minaret on the grounds, but I missed photographing it and didn’t have the heart to make Tim go back. This time, anyway.
