The innovative architecture in downtown Doha was one of the big attractions of the city for me – it seemed like every building must have been approved for a unique design that would only contribute to the striking skyline because there wasn’t a boring, boxy building among them.
This is not such a beautiful building, IMO, but I think the design is impressive. The bottom of the round part is lit up at night with colorful designs. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a picture of it this trip, but we are returning to Qatar next month, and that is one of my goals!
