Traditional door

I just love the doors here -- I had no idea they were so beautiful. Obviously there are modern doors, too, although with a traditional flair, but if you look for these painted ones, you'll find them.

a vibrant scene highlighting a collision of eras...it seems unfortunate the women have to cover up so comprehensively..

Give me the tradtional doors any day! Another wonderful juxtaposition of old and new. The boys and little girl in western dress and the use of the cell phone (I assume) contrasts eye-catchingly with the women and the lovely old door. V

it makes one realise the extent to which we have shed colour and ornamentation from our own urban culture.....imagine those boys with hand embroidered clothes
