Not even boats to stop

Marine navigation has been halted on the Danube because most vessels can no longer clear the bridges safely. This stoplight, of course, is on the rakpart, a major road that runs along the riverbank.

Yikes, Helen! This is terrible. So high. Stephanie said she ran into a lot of flooding in France too. Thanks for sharing these pics. Feel bad for everyone there. Must be a lot of losses.

OMG ~ we parked along the road next to the boat docks to take the evening riverboat cruise. Is that road under water like this??? V
