The Red House (1733)

Originally built in the Baroque style and served as the rural seat of the bishopric. It's now a very large commercial center that is downright unattractive and not well maintained. The windows were the only thing I liked. I've seen pictures of the building when it was closed, had no cars around it and was in beautiful light, so I know there is more to it than I saw. Maybe I need to visit on a public holiday for the best effect!

Well those windows do have a rustic artisan look to them.

Nice framing, Helen. Sandy does a lot of these type of shots. Nothing but doors or windows. It is a simple image, however it is very impressive, too. Well done. V.

This little fragment is extraordinarily beautiful, so it is sad to read that it is mostly not very attractive and not properly maintained. This perhaps hints at its once overall beauty. V
