This has always been my favorite church in Vienna, well, until I discovered the Russian Orthodox cathedral. However, this church, completed in 1737, remains a beautiful and unique piece of architecture in my mind. I've never been inside of it, unfortunately. It seems like half of Vienna was in the square in front of the church that evening. I don't know if there was some festival, or if it's just a normal gathering place, but it was packed.
