Warsaw churches, St. Jacek's Church

St. Jacek's was founded by the Dominican Order and completed in 1639. It adjoins Warsaw's largest monastery.

It's inside St. Jacek’s Church in New Town. The tombstones of two noble women date beck to 1607 and 1616.

Oh boy those pews and kneelers look painful to use. This looks like part of the original church that was destroyed during the war.

My two favorite materials - textured stone and beautiful wood. Nice work Helen. v
