Market Square is the largest city square in Europe (this is only half of it) and is the heart of city life in Kraków. There is always something going there and all four sides are lined with outdoor restaurants and cafés. Here a gypsy group is entertaining the diners that aren't quite visible on the right.
At the center of the square is the Cloth Hall, a public market dating to the 14th-16th centuries. Today it houses a score of vendors selling Polish handcrafts.
