Last night I created curve templates for the pedestal stretchers and rough cut them with a jig saw.
Tonite, using the templates as a guide, I refined the curve with a router and straight bearing bit
using the setup shown. The piece on the left is being routed. The one on the right gives added
support to the equipment and keeps the bit vertical. Presto! Two identically curved pieces.
