I'm just guessing, but I have a hunch these guys are based at Point Magu, California, which is right across the pond from the Channel Islands there (San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Santa Cruz, and Anacapa).

A nice addition to the tail feather family. A great job catching the deep blue of the sky, the colors are excellent!

Wonderful light...
Those ribbons on the tail also gives you the feeling that this was shot during flight. Nice touch.
