Friends of ours are building a cordwood house; the garage is finished. Cordwood construction is an old method of construction, and while uncommon in these parts results in a gorgeous building. that really IS beautiful . . . and different from the expected "log cabin" look Something that pretty, unfortunately, would probably not work here . . .too many termites =(
