If I lived there ...I would probably be hiding too.

As far as "No Man's Land(s)" go. They are probably the worst of the worst
when it comes to safety and poverty. Basically an anything goes kind of place where
neither country wants to take full responsibility. Some of the most interesting
places to see also. Just watch out, anything goes, including spiked bats, whippings,
the general congregation of the diseased and dying (aids, polio, etc.) and a
whole bunch of other nasty stuff.

...this particular spot between Nigeria and Benin was quite welcoming though, with a
few families here just trying to survive and make a living.
