Two days after returning from our nice warm vacation in Saint Lucia, we had a major snowfall. About 40 cm of very wet and very heavy snow fell over a 24 hour period. The snow was so heavy on the trees that many branches broke under the weight of the snow. The one plus is that during a snowfall and the day after, it is most serene and beautiful outside; that is, until the plows and cars start messing it up. The following three images were taken around our home.

View along the side of our property. About four large branches were broken from the large spruce tree on the right. I planted that tree some 35 years ago.
