Three Images entitled-- "THE MAIN COURSE" or "A THROAT EXPANDER".

Top image: The Green Heron with a large Bull Frog, captured after a long and very patient stare.

After considerable effort, once almost losing the Frog, the Heron manages to align the Frog to go down head-first.

And down it goes. (That's quite the lateral neck stretch.)

An unusual series of captures Hank. I've watched and photographed many herons and have never seen one catch and eat a big frog. Big fish yes. Big frogs no. Very cool.
