When the first Vulture challenged the Peregrine Falcon, causing the Falcon to scramble to the sky, I fully expected the Falcon to come back for a high-speed dive and snap the intruder's neck. The Falcon, however, seemed to know enough to cut its losses before more uninvited dinned guests appeared. The Falcon did not return.
Top image: Company for dinner.
"No! You are not invited".
A fight ensues.
Dinner resumes, but the second Vulture pounces on some lunch dislodged during the tussle.
A third Vulture joins the fray, whilst the first moves to protect the bulk of its meal and the 2nd is about to take off with some dinner.
The third Vulture is about to take-off with the Coot's head.
More intruders. One flying in to attack whilst an other waits for its chance to snatch some grub.
Another fight ensues whilst the Vulture on the left looks on waiting for its chance to steel some dinner.
And on it went. We didn't stay for desert to be served as we had a ship to catch.
