This image was taken through the glass of my kitchen window. My wife called me up from my basement abode and told me to hurry and bring my camera as there was another Hawk sitting on our backyard fence eying the House Sparrows frozen/hiding in the thick evergreen bushes near our feeders. Over the past few years we've had several Hawks visiting to check out our feeders. Prior to this juvenile Sharp-shinned, we've had an adult Sharp-shinned, a Cooper's and several Merlins. This one was quite taken up with the numerous House Sparrows hiding in the low bushes; hence, I was able to take quite a few shots from inside the kitchen and then from our upstairs bedroom window. In the end, the Hawk came up empty and I got about 50 shots.
