Mud Lake, Ottawa

Four Images, three views of single and one of part of a colony of Dragonflies. A few of us were looking for birds to photograph when we came upon an area where there were large groups of Dragonflies clustered in various low shrubs and trees.

Incredible series of shots. These are one of the baskettail species, and they will emerge in great numbers, sometimes hundreds. I've never been able to get a photo of more than a few together. You did very well, and the photos are wonderful.
