Two Images of American Coots. These are the first American Coots that I have photographed in Canada. An other Pbaser gave me the heads-up that there were three American Coots in a nearby park, two adults and one juvenile. I went there as soon as I could and found them to be still there. The next morning, there seemed to be different group of Coots there, two adults and one distinct, but younger juvenile from the one seen the previous day. Someone reported seeing five Coots. I've not heard of them being seen in this park previously. I did previously photograph American Coots in Mexico.
