Three images. The first two are, I think, of the same Hybrid goose that I posted yesterday http://www.pbase.com/hankvv/image/119997615). Yesterday's images were taken in March/09 and today's in November/09. The Goose may have stayed around the area. The final image is of a Greater White-fronted Goose, taken in 2007. It is included for comparison. Two days ago, I posted images of an other Hybrid goose. In both instances I initially indicated that I thought the geese to be Canada/Greater W-f Hybrids.
I was informed by a Pbase and local friend photographer, Chris, that the Hybrid is more than likely a cross between a Canada Goose and a Graylag (a.k.a Domestic) Goose. I did some checking on the internet and I think that Chris is probably correct. Any comments will be appreciated.
Top Image: Close-up of the Hybrid Goose with its wings raised.
Full wing-spread. Note the single white, outer primary wing feather similar to the multiple white wing feathers in the images posted two days ago (see http://www.pbase.com/image/119970274 )
