Three images of a Loon Couple and one Baby Loon, approx 2-3 days old. Note: this is not the Loon family that I had previously reported to have had their nest + 2 eggs destroyed, and then started a new nest. This second attempt at nesting for this couple also failed as it appears that the one egg has been destroyed by some predator.

Above Photo: Two Loons + one young, probably only a few days old. Ma & Pa seem to be a bit apprehensive at our approach.


Ma. and Pa. are down right upset with us as we approach a bit too close.


As we back off, the Loons swim away, junior doing its best to keep up with the adults.
