Two images of the male Resplendent Quetzal. Note the very long tail feathers, up to 76cm(30 inches) long. Actually, they are not tail feathers, but rather extended upper tail coverts, four in total - two long and two shorter.

If it were not for his vivid colours it would be near impossible to locate this great species. Good eye and nicely done Hank.
