distressed lettuce

Started with scanned lettuce leaves.

I found this great FREE download of photoshop brushes. I used the scratches one to distress the leaves a bit. I actually found this when searching for information on how to make a photo look aged and scratched. But these brushes do A LOT more and it was soooooooooo easy. Here is the info on the brushes.

Burn, Torn, Wrap, Wet, Fold and Scratch your photos and papers. Brushes size: 1024 x (700) pixels

Instructions:
For best results use these brushes with Burn and Dodge tools and sepia tones. With some, white Airbrush results as well... I just used a muted color over my image.

Yes, I do not by for taste, or just what I plan to eat. I buy what I can scan or photograph. Robin Reid thinks I must not be getting enough to eat since I have so many food shots.--Rene
