My intent was to capture the light off the shiny corridor walls. To my good fortune, a colorful figure appeared as I snapped the shutter. The corridor walls are coated with arayish or goutai, a mixture of powdered marble, crushed limestone, egg, yoghurt and honey to achieve the glossy appearance.
