Written on the 4th: We've had something like a thousand plus fires* throughout our state of California. One broke out this evening in Malibu from someone's trailer home exploding. When I arrived to shoot the image above nothing was visible in the apocalyptic atmosphere. This little pano' is the result of about 10 layers stacked with various mojo applied to each to quell noise and attenuate the dominant red-orange. The fireworks throughout the basin just augmented the smoke already suffocating Los Angeles.
