Set In Stone

These simple, but well preserved Sinaguan ruins can be found in the Red Rock-Secret Mountain wilderness north of Sedona, AZ. It was nice to find some relatively unspoiled ruins so close to Sedona and I really loved their setting in a nicely tucked away red rock amphitheater...complete with desert varnish and all. It also helped that this amphitheater was aglow with reflected light from the sun hitting the adjacent wall.
